This site has been developed by the "xephos" team, based in the Isle of Wight.
If you have any comments about the working of the site please email the editor. If you have any comments about Herefordshire bus services in gereal then you should contact the Public Transport Officer. His address and phone number are given in the Contacts section of this introduction.

There are two main sections of the site:-

TIMETABLES

By clicking on the sections of the map or on the place names on the left, you will be taken to the appropriate area of the County. From here you can click on either the route number buttons on the left of the page OR on the coloured route numbers on each map. If the route number button has a warning triangle symbol this means that the timetable is EITHER about to change or has changed recently. It is wise to check if you are a regular traveller. The tag is used when a BRAND NEW service starts. Route number buttons return to "normal" about 3 weeks after the changes have been introduced.

JOURNEY PLANNER

Here you have a vast range of facilities at your disposal. Click on the "Journeys" button and you will be able to enter a "FROM" and "TO" location and then follow through the on-screen instructions. At least one of the places entered must be in the Herefordshire area.

If you know the Company and/ or the service number of the bus, you can go to the "Timetables" section. These tables also provide a "Large Print" facility.

If you are not sure whether the village (or any other location) is listed OR if you are unsure which DAYS the bus runs, the you can try the "Places" section of the Journey Planner. From here you can list (and link to) ALL the bus routes that are available at that particular place.

IMPORTANT WARNING

Herefordshire County Council does not accept responsibility for Timetables OUTSIDE the County area. These are maintained by the xephos team - often relying on the good-will of bus companies and Local Authorities to keep everything up-to-date. If your journey is outside Herefordshire and involves critical connections or infrequent bus services you may need to make further enquiries. A link is available to a chart giving a guide to the level of reliability County by County.

Please do not hesitate to contact the editor if you have any problems in using the site.
